Emily holds an M.A. in Spanish from the University of Virginia and has taught in a wide range of classroom settings, from preschool to high school and college. She has also worked with students of all ages in small-group lessons. Her travels to Spain, Mexico, and Peru have enriched both her language skills and cultural understanding. Emily is passionate about finding the most effective methods for language learning and has researched them extensively. Teaching Spanish is truly her passion! Emily loves being part of the Alexandria Learning Cooperative, where she can immerse children in Spanish through songs, games, and laughter.
